SecureMail-Plus encompasses all of the encryption features of SecureMail with the added benefit of real time message supervision. SecureMail-Plus allows the sender to self review messages when compliance or PII lexicon is found reducing compliance officer review time and workload.
How Erado's SecureMail-Plus Encryption Works
Sent email is redirected to one of Erado's SecureMail Email Encryption Centers where the body and all attachments are scanned with Erado's deep scan technology for personally identifiable information (PII) and compliance lexicon. If no PII or compliance lexicon is found the message is delivered as any other normal message.
When PII or supervisory lexicon is found the message is automatically held for supervision by either the sender or assigned compliance officer. Based upon further review the sender or compliance officer can determine is the message should be released (sent) or rescinded based on internal compliance policy.
If the message is allowed to be sent and has PII the message is encrypted via our "Smart Delivery™" solution which automatically utilizes the most secure and easiest to read encryption technology based on the recipient(s) address.
A clear unencrypted copy of the original message, and notification messages are securely delivered to the customers Erado archive and supervisory service or internally hosted solution.
